Common Questions

All Your Questions, Answered In One Place

FAQ: FAQ

Setting an Appointment

  • Call 907-222-6606 and provide a brief synopsis of what you are looking for in therapy.

  • A Therapist will review your information and call you back to determine if the therapist will be a good fit for you.

  • If the Therapist and you agree, our office will send out the paperwork to start the therapeutic process.

  • All of your paperwork will need to be filled out prior to scheduling your first intake appointment.

Intake Process

  • Your initial appointment will take 2 hours to review all of your paperwork, and answer any questions you have. This session will likely include all parties participating in the therapy, including parents/guardians and children. Part of the intake session can provide each party individual time with the therapist, in order to allow each party to express their thoughts and feelings of what they want to gain from therapy.

  • If 2 hours is not enough time, an additional consult may be needed to complete the intake process. This consult will not cost an additional fee, and will be for the client and therapist to build rapport and/or gather any missing information. This session will last from 30-60 minutes.

Treatment Plan

  • Once your intake process is complete, a session will be scheduled to review your individualized treatment plan. This session will take 30-60 minutes and will include all parties to the therapy, including parents/guardians and children.

  • When treatment goals and objectives are reviewed and agreed upon, the individual sessions will be scheduled.
